Remembering Alice Eckardt, Professor Emerita of Religion Studies

Eckardt, along with her late husband, was a founder of Lehigh's nationally and internationally known Jewish Studies program.

 

Alice Eckardt, professor emerita of religion studies, died recently in Coopersburg, at age 97.  A member of the Lehigh faculty from 1972 to 1987, Eckardt was a founder, along with her colleague and husband, the late A.
